To us the name and word FARAD is a meaningful and powerful one. It defines our organization as the Foundation for Advancing Renewable Actions and Decisions. 

"F" stands for  "Foundation", symbolizing the base and commitment to environmental causes, communities and projects.

"A" represents "Advancing", indicating progress and forward-thinking approaches in sustainability.

"R" signifies "Renewable", emphasizing the use of sustainable energy and responsible technologies.

"A" stands for "Action", highlighting the importance of taking tangible steps toward conservation.

"D" stands for "Decisions", underscoring the role of informed and sustainable choices in combating climate change and global warming. 

In describing our patented carbon offset certification and authentication technology, the FARAD TOKEN represents a blockchain based digital asset, the result of renewable energy created without the burning of fossil fuels or emissions of CO2 in the atmosphere. 

As a unit of electrical capacitance, the FARAD is a symbol of the ability of a body to store an electrical charge and this is central to our technological capabilities in developing a new generation of super and ultra capacitors, capable of storing large amounts of renewable energy.

Last but not least the FARAD pays tribute to the great scientist Michael Faraday whose discoveries include the principles underlying electromagnetics induction,  diamagnetism and electrolysis. He was one of the most influential scientists in history. His inventions of electromagnetic rotary devices  formed the foundation of electric motor technology, and it was largely  due to his efforts that electricity became practical for use in technology. 

Just as a Tesla is the unit of magnetic flux density and magnetic fields, named after Nikola Tesla, inventor of modern alternating current and wireless communication and the contributing name to the largest electric vehicle company in the world, there is more to a name than meets the eye.
